34 Tallawong Road Rouse Hill

The vision

The North West of Sydney is undergoing an exciting transformation, with significant investment being made in new infrastructure and facilities. One of the priority growth areas is Tallawong, which will be home to the first Metro station on the Northwest line. CDMA was excited to acquire a four-hectare parcel of land in the growing Tallawong precinct – a site that will set the stage for a stylish new residential development.

The story so far

Our goal was to find a world-class architectural partner to create a design concept that is both aesthetically pleasing, and eminently liveable. A number of acclaimed architecture firms expressed interest in the project, including WMK, Turner, Kann Finch, BVN, PTW, Brewster Murray, Dickson Rothschild, Nettleton Tribe and CPD+DCM. After carefully considering each firm’s credentials, we invited four to put forward submissions: WMK, Kann Finch, BVN and PTW.

While all the design submissions were impressive, we ultimately selected WMK, who demonstrated a deep understanding of the North West local area. Their design solution is beautifully functional, sustainable and economical; a balance that is certain to resonate with the local community.
